Trip highlights
Swim with wild dolphins in Egypt
You'll have the chance to experience something truly magical - meeting wild dolphins in their natural home during our trips to Sataya Reef! This beautiful lagoon is a resting place for spinner dolphins, where you can often encounter them in large pods. And you don't need to freedive deep to see them, as they often swim close to the surface, making it easy to observe them while snorkeling. It's a unique opportunity to feel a special connection with these beautiful animals while respecting their freedom. No touching, no chasing, just enjoying their presence on their terms. It's one of those moments you'll never forget!
Explore the coral gardens of Marsa Shagra
Marsa Shagra has one of the most beautiful house reefs in the Red Sea full of colourful corals and incredible marine life accessible to all levels of snorkelers and freedivers. The house reef offers a variety of marine life from green and hawksbill turtles, rays, reef sharks and schools of tropical fish. It is not uncommon to encounter spinner dolphins especially in the early mornings there and If you're lucky, you might even spot passing whale sharks and manta rays! The reef is easily accessible from the shore, making it perfect for exploring at your own pace.
Discover the Marsa Abu Dabab
Marsa Abu Dabab is a beautiful bay known for its seagrass meadows and coral reefs full of incredible marine life. We’ll explore its shallow waters, where you have a great chance of spotting green sea turtles feeding on seagrass and if we’re lucky, we might even see one of the Red Sea’s rarest marine mammals — the dugongs!
Learn to relax underwater
Freediving is often seen as a sport about pushing limits and reaching greater depths. Our approach is different. We believe that learning to relax, understand your body and work with your mind can transform the way you experience the underwater world. Throughout the retreat, Emilija will share the foundations of freediving through practical, introductory workshops. You’ll learn about equalisation, relaxation before a dive, breath-hold preparation, duck diving and essential freediving safety. No freediving certification is required to join the retreat.
Meet like minded ocean lovers
This retreat is for women who feel drawn to the ocean, whether you’ve always dreamed of seeing wild dolphins, love discovering new places or simply want to explore the unique underwater world of the Red Sea. You’ll meet a small group of curious, open-minded women who share a love for nature and a sense of adventure. It’s a chance to step away from everyday routines, slow down, discover the incredible marine life of the Red Sea, have meaningful conversations and create unforgettable memories together.
Where will you stay
Red Sea Diving Safari
Our home for this retreat will be the Red Sea Diving Safari eco-villages on Egypt’s southern Red Sea coast. The first 3 nights we will be at Marsa Shagra, a peaceful seaside village with direct access to its beautiful house reef.
We’ll stay in spacious, dome-roofed huts measuring approximately 4 × 4 metres, designed to offer a comfortable, close-to-nature experience, double room with two single beds. Located just a short walk from the water, the huts offer a lovely setting for waking up to the sea and enjoying the changing colours of the sky throughout the day.
Shared bathrooms and showers are located nearby and are regularly cleaned. Meals are served buffet-style in the communal dining area, creating a relaxed space to enjoy food and connect with the group after a day in the water.
Wadi Lahami — three nights
For the second part of our journey, we’ll travel farther south to Wadi Lahami, a remote Red Sea village surrounded by desert mountains, open skies and the beautiful reefs of the Fury Shoals region.
Here, we plan to stay in Deluxe Chalets, the village’s higher accommodation category. Each chalet measures approximately 5 × 8 metres and includes a private en-suite bathroom and the comforts needed for a relaxing stay, double room with two single beds. Meals are served buffet-style in the communal dining area, creating a relaxed space to enjoy food and connect with the group after a day in the water.
With the dramatic desert landscape on one side and the Red Sea nearby, Wadi Lahami offers a wonderful sense of space and escape. After a day exploring coral gardens and searching for marine life, you will return to your own comfortable retreat, unwind and enjoy the quiet beauty of this special place.

Our intention is to experience the underwater world respectfully, without chasing or disturbing marine animals, and to leave the ocean as we found it.
